The Basic Life Support (BLS) course offered by Roanoke CPR is designed to train healthcare workers on how to respond to life-threatening emergencies such as cardiac arrest and choking. It is approved by CAPCE for EMS CEs and widely accepted in more than 150 healthcare-related occupations. The course follows the most up to date AHA CPR and ECC guidelines. While we follow the AHA guidelines, the course will not meet the requirements for employers or agencies who require a certification issued by AHA (such as Carilion Clinic).
